    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Payroll Supervisor will work as part of the international payroll team based at the Home Office. The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and support to a team of Payroll Auditors, Senior Payroll Auditors, and Payroll Leads, who are responsible for executing a total of 8-12 international payrolls. The Payroll Supervisor ensures that all critical payroll processes are completed timely and accurately. Additional priorities include payroll compliance, efficiency, and opportunities for process improvement. This position will be responsible for 2-4 direct reports, and will report directly to the Senior International Payroll Manager at the Home Office.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure direct reports are executing daily tasks and deliverables.
    • Supervision responsibilities include: payroll operations training, performance evaluation, individual development planning, and development coaching.
    • Provide formal and informal coaching in "real time." Additionally, individual and regular bi-weekly meetings with all direct reports.
    • Research and resolve complex and/or escalated payroll issues.
    • Initiate and engage in cross-functional partnerships to deliver optimal results; consistent communication with partners.
    • Proactively and consistently identify and drive opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist in testing and implementation of payroll-related changes.
    • Partner with regionally based payroll teams and team leads; open and consistent communication to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls.
    • Build strong and collaborative relationships with team members, business partners, and leaders to understand and ultimately solve business challenges.
  • Qualifications

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years of Payroll experience.
    • 2+ years experience supervising others.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Communicates in a highly effective, yet approachable manner; able to communicate with all levels the business. Appropriate judgement in knowing when to handle a situation independently vs. when an issue requires escalation.
    • Proven ability to manage projects and delegate to others. Ability to lead and complete simultaneous projects, without sacrificing daily operational responsibilities, with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to execute tasks and meet critical deadlines in a thorough, poised, accurate, and timely manner, while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and often-changing environment.
    • High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow through, coupled with the flexibility to shift requirements and expectations, due to ever-changing needs of the business.
    • A collaborative approach to work; building strong partnerships with business partners and considering impact to stakeholders when making decisions.
    • Self-motivated, self-starting, and creative thinker; shows resiliency in problem-solving.
    • Proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvement.
    • Leads team through open communication; direct, yet approachable. Shapes the attitudes and standards of team members through their own actions.
