Junior Graphic Designer - Oakland, CA - Full Time - Marketing - Entry Level - Were Pet Food Express, and were transforming our customers relationships with their pets. Our fast-paced Marketing department is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to create compelling content that is modern, genuine and purposeful. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Junior Graphic Designer works closely with our Copywriter/Marketer to create and produce vibrant content in our company brand voice. Our team is experimental and highly-collaborative. We support the best idea in the room, even if its not our own. The right person will be positive, highly creative, and able to give and receive feedback well. Most importantly, theyll make a real impact and help us move forward as a brand. What Youll Do: - Create inspired, on-brand creative for print and digital advertising, retail environments, promotional materials and more - Produce graphics and layouts for our new website, translating our in-store brand identity into a digital experience - Project Management from concept and download through to pricing, print, and execution in stores. Were a small team and were not afraid to roll up our sleeves. - Work with cross-functional teams to support integrated seasonal campaigns across all channels - Create all marketing materials for the Bay Area Pet Fair, our biggest brand event of the year and the largest pet adoption event in the country. What Youll Bring: - B.A. in Graphic Design and 0-2 years professional design experience - Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop. Were getting into animated graphics and stop motion animation, so experience or a willingness to learn is important. - Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously and effectively - Attention to detail and a natural tendency to double check your work before sending to print - A highly-collaborative working style - Professional written and verbal communication, with strong understanding of grammar and the ability to interact with all levels at the company.
