There will be a need to leverage your recruiting expertise and market knowledge to develop and execute passive and active sourcing strategies. As a highly visible and engaged member of our team, the Senior Recruiter will leverage innovative and contemporary methods of identifying and hiring talented people.It is expected that a strategic partnership is established with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners across multiple lines of business at PetSmart'scorporate offices.Our Talent Acquisition team of 15 people includes Recruiters, In-house Sourcing, Operations, and Support Staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Management and ownership of the IT recruiting process from candidate sourcing through identification, interviewing, selection, and offer process * Lead the development and execution of an effective sourcing strategy * Hands-on experience with web-based applicant tracking and candidate sourcing tools * Maintains current applicant tracking documentation through each phase of the recruitment process * Assess candidates and generate a pipeline for a variety of concurrent searches using a diverse set of sourcing tools and techniques that attract top talent * Implement and document process improvements * Design business reports to capture key staffing metrics for internal clients * Solve complex issues independently * Act as a mentor to others on the team * Establishes close and trusting client relationships by: educating the client and providing advice on market trends, acting as a consultant throughout the hiring process and providing meaningful feedback to assist in the final selection process. Interacts and consults independently with senior management. * Maintain a commitment to clear and proactive communication, internal client service, and self-development/learning. * Lead business initiatives pertaining to recruiting * Manages 3rd party vendors including external research, recruiting and assessment firms. * Provides leadership to corporate recruiters * Contributes to the development of recruiters through coaching, mentoring and management of individual development plans. * Provides oversight and guidance as needed with assigned recruitment activities QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required; bachelors degree strongly preferred. * Demonstrated recruitment success to include approximately 3-5 years of diverse consultative full cycle IT recruiting experience, from search firms and corporate environments.
