Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s existing IT cloud architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
• Develop the architecture and design deliverables and provide support as an Azure SME.
• Conceptualize, design and architect the Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS)/Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment.
• Provides expert technical support and completes project tasks for all cloud services, server and infrastructure operating systems, software implementations, and projects.
• Enforces and Governance and polices established by the Cloud Governance team.
• Applies patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrades administrative tools and utilities. Configures or adds new services as necessary to maintain security levels.
• Works with security team to establish and maintain an appropriate level of application and server security.
• Monitor, maintain and manage High Availability applications between Cloud and On-premises applications.
• Detailed understanding of key Azure services, to include Key Vault and Encryption process, preferred
• Contributes to and supports the corporate adoption of the DevOps methodology.
• Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Cloud strategy, standards and best practices associated with all aspects Cloud offerings.
• Build leading-edge solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity architecture.
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure, Security and Application Development teams during design and development phases, providing guidance, interpretation, and engineering expertise.
• Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization and access control.
• Implementation of Azure networking for enterprise organizations, building of hybrid environments to span existing networks and Azure
• Demonstrable experience with a large range of Azure cloud .capabilities including but not limited to storage, key vaults, virtual networking, web apps AAD, virtual machines, access management and automated deployments.
• Develops daily system monitoring for all PaaS and IaaS Services
• Willing to assist with on-premises Data Center initiatives when assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3-4 years’ experience managing Azure Cloud Environments.
• 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows AD Core Services.
• Experience utilizing Rubrik Data Protection and Microsoft Azure Storage Vaults.
• Certifications in data center and/or cloud platforms a plus.
• Microsoft certifications a plus.
• Extensive knowledge with Azure AD, Intune and Azure cloud services.
• Working knowledge of Azure components with private networking.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell and/or other object-oriented scripting languages.
• Extensive knowledge Windows server (all versions) and Active Directory domain architecture.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver solutions according to project schedules.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of Company personnel and others.
• Ability to be on call evenings, weekends and holidays.
