    Job Description

    Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems department. This role will focus all efforts within the finance technology needs for all Red Wing Shoe Company’s business units. 

    This position will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing operation of the Blackline solution, in addition to supporting other Finance applications. They will also maintain relationships and communication with all business units regarding system requirements and issue management.

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in business, accounting, finance or management information systems from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 5 years of direct accounting or finance experience. Background in financial close process optimization/continuous improvement and Blackline experience is preferred. 

    Qualified candidates should have experience in Infor M3 (or similar ERP system); Enterprise Performance Management solutions (OneStream preferred); Documenting current and proposed process flows, converting the conceptual design into a detailed functional specification document, preparing test plans and scripts, and production turnover documentation and user documentation; Showcasing improvement through process improvement methodologies that result in organizational efficiencies. 

    Qualified candidates should hold required knowledge, skill, or ability in both accounting and cloud-based technology solutions; Understanding of how to leverage technology for process improvement; Highly customer-focused to provide consistently excellent customer service and professionalism; Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; Strong knowledge of GAAP; retail and manufacturing knowledge preferred; Demonstrated analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills; Ability to quickly assess situations to pinpoint the scope/source of technical issues; Dependability to work both individually and in a team environment; Excellent organizational and project management skills; Ability to drive results and manage multiple priorities.
