Job Description
This position will provide administrative support for the Manufacturing Support function across Red Wing based facilities. Primary responsibilities will include serving as an assistant to the Manufacturing Support Manager by dispatching (assigning) work, monitor and track status of work assigned, input data, create and maintain reports and provide administrative support as needed.
Administer the manufacturing facility preventative maintenance (PM) process including but not limited to assigning and tracking status of work orders, maintaining PM (creating/closing out WO’s) database, providing technical systems training as well as providing work direction to department as delegated by the maintenance supervisor.
Act as a POC for dispatching line and building maintenance, ensure accurate reporting of tech calls into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Record measurements to capture effectiveness of implementing/sustaining process improvements.
Create reports and provide data to support manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and other functions as needed or requested.
General office administrative duties including but not limited to processing mail, managing office supplies and managing maintenance of office equipment.
Enter in all new equipment as well as updating machines that move in M3 and create asset tags for each new piece of equipment.
Manage tool crib assets, ensure effective organization and proper stock levels are maintained.
Effectively communicate/collaborate with stakeholders including but not limited to timely communications, participation in improving operations and delivering on commitments.
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Accounting preferred) and two years related experience/training (production, scheduling or supply chain management experience strongly preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
