    The Role:

    Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and coordinates activities for designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and within financial cost objectives.

    This position is located in Ogden, Utah.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to the development of strategic plans and reviews during bid preparation to include spec review and bid cost guidance.
    • Prepares and completes detailed project plans and special resource requirements; participates in all risk reviews.
    • Directs and manages project development from beginning to end.
    • Manages post order change orders and negotiations, customer interfaces with peer Project Managers and phase gate reviews to include margin verification/stop work.
    • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing and scheduling plans; analyzing variances; addressing constraints and initiating corrective actions.
    • Coordinates the activities of Project Coordinators to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
    • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
    • Conducts post order reviews to determine appropriate corrective actions where necessary to improve project management processes; prepares timely progress reports and final project updates.
    • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members; provides technical advice to resolve problems.
    • Works individually and as a team to develop and implement processes and procedures, quality improvements, and cost flow improvements.
    • Other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; with five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in electric heating and/or project management.
    • Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
    • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets and database software. JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
    • Work requires continual attention to detail in follow through, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Qualifications

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Under the direction of the Concessions and Merchandising Manager, the intern will be trained how to:

    • Operate a food and beverage service. This includes time management skills, ordering, receiving, stocking, inventory, staffing, staff training, health and safety (DHEC), quality control, food costs, etc.;
    • Operate an on-site and ecommerce merchandising service. This includes receiving purchase orders, merchandising display solutions, customer engagement, inventory, storage solutions, etc.;
    • Reporting and accounting operations. This includes cash handling*, daily sales reporting and cost of goods reporting, invoicing, etc.;
    • Activating partnership agreements;
    • Customer services and relations;
    • Provide creative and innovative feedback, ideas, and suggestions.
