    TITLE: FINANCE OPERATIONS

    LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

    PAY RATE: $22/HR

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Operations Analyst - IMO acts as the conduit between a client’s front office trading, oversight functions, and back-office servicing centers. This role is responsible for the oversight, risk mitigation, and effective workflow management of employees to support the day-to-day operations of the Middle Office department.

    • Operational Excellence
    • Execute and manage the day-to-day operations while focusing on exceeding expectations. Know your numbers - volume, holdovers, aged activity, materiality of exceptions
    • Ensure client deliverables are prepared according to internal deadlines, sent accurately and on time and proactively look at queries so that they can be responded to in a timely fashion.
    • Deliver exceptional client service, be responsive. Ensure any client / reporting issues are escalated urgently to Team Leader as they arise. As issues are encountered and problems identified, look for solutions and recommend changes to be made to resolve the issue.

    • Act with integrity, in the best interest of BBH and colleagues.
    • Speak confidently and persuasively, winning support for ideas or obtaining what is needed to complete the task.
    • Take a broader view, generates innovative ideas to solve problems, and defines the steps to be taken to achieve desired results.

    • Focus on building a high performing, efficient, and collaborative team environment for the new US IMO hub.

    • Perform assigned tasks diligently and accurately, always ensuring BBH procedures, policies, and best practices are followed.
    • Maintain a strong control environment. Achieve financial risk reduction through accurate delivery of information.
    • Complete all appropriate checklists accurately and timely.
    • Follow effective escalation process within the disciplines so that all relevant issues are brought to the attention of the Management team
    • Support
    • Backs-up the Manager in day-to-day client interactions, including attending client meetings on behalf of the manager, as needed.
    • Attends project meetings in support of departmental product enhancements, and new client onboarding.
    • May train new hires on how to utilize the BBH IMO technology and IMO vendor products.
    • Has in depth knowledge of IMO applications.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA or Equivalent to 5 years of experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel advanced skills preferred
    • Knowledge of industry regulations, financial markets and industry vendor products preferred (i.e. matching utilities, custodians, accounting platforms)o Ability to stay focused on detailed information for long periods of time
    • Ability to discern numbers and number sequels, reading comprehension
    • Ability to manage hourly and daily deadlines
