Our Supply Chain team at our Boise Corporate Office is seeking a Summer Intern who will specifically focus on Reclamation in our Product Recovery group The Intern will have the opportunity to be exposed to processes crucial to the organization's ability to service our customers and manage returns and reclamation of unsaleable goods. In addition, the Intern will also receive a high level overview of both warehouse and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills as well as having either a Supply Chain related degree or experience in either distribution, manufacturing, procurement or retail. Work Site Location(s): Boise Major(s) Desired: Information Technology, Business Software, etc. Description of Project: A business-facing mobile application built on Microsoft Power Apps. Specific deliverable TBD. Software Access Required: Not sure what this means. * MS Power Apps * SQL Server * MS-Access (possibly) Completion Date/Timeline: Duration of Internship. Any spare time will be spent learning about Albertsons IT and Supply Chain. Description of Training: Independent study (prework), guided training, hands on learning Training Type: Software development on desktop/department level tools. Skills and Qualifications: Studied software development best practices, familiarity with the Microsoft Tool Stack, especially the No Code Power Apps platform, understanding of relational databases and SQL Server in particular. Familiarity with Retail Supply Chain practices an asset. Will need to be willing to work/learn independently though will have daily mentorship. Person could be in a formal I/T program or perhaps a business program with a significant focus on information systems. Additional Comments: Successful candidates will have coded their own applications before in formal and informal settings. These could be mobile or web applications. This is not Corporate I/T but an embedded position within a business unit focused on quick delivery of department level solutions.
