This individual will support the daily execution of marketing emails, track key performance metrics on an ongoing basis, derive insights from results, and share recommendations with the broader cross-functional teams. Specific Duties/Responsibilities: * Support the management of the email process workflow including planning email calendar with Merchants, ensuring timely completion of Creative Briefs, collaborating with Creative and Merchandizing Operations on content, obtaining timely approvals on email content from Leadership and working with QA to test email assets. * Work closely with ESP and internal team members to plan and launch daily emails. Help manage vendor relationship with Cheetahmail ??? Saks.com???s email vendor of record. * Work with broader Marketing team to enhance email segmentation and develop email campaigns with a focus on a more personalized one-to-one customer relationship. * Develop and execute test plans for key email components such as subject lines, timing, creative, segmentation, frequency, etc. * Represent the marketing and email position among cross-functional partnerships, presenting the marketing team???s case for program enhancements and new initiatives in order to meet goals. * Weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on email performance metrics, analyzing results and identifying opportunities to drive increased email revenue. * Participate in the cross-flow of results and best practices with the broader Marketing team in a timely and actionable format. * BS or BA required, concentration in Marketing a plus. * 1-2 years of experience, preferably in email marketing and execution. A background in retail and/or consumer products is preferable. * Prior experience managing a daily email campaign, triggered program and reporting on results with a large-scale ESP is required. * Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines. The right candidate will be able to juggle several, sometimes conflicting deadlines. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a corporate work environment with multiple stakeholders with different points of view. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are a must. * Superior analytic skills, and the ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to both identify optimization within the current business and new opportunities for growth. Must be passionate about presenting a fact based argument and enjoy numbers. * High comfort level with advanced Excel. Fluency in Word and PowerPoint preferred.
