The Operations Intern is hosted by the Operations Department at one of our manufacturing/distribution facilities. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Operations Management Team with: Directing the safe manufacture of production orders Maintaining safety and housekeeping programs Employee training Ensuring the quality of production orders Special projects as identified by the Operations Manager Please note that we do not provide housing. Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university at the time of the internship Must have sophomore, junior or senior class standing Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 Must be willing to relocate if in the future considered for a Trainee position Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point Other Qualifications: Operations/Industrial Management, Distribution Management, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, Logistics, or related majors are strongly preferred Previous internship, co-op or work experience in a related field is preferred Demonstrated leadership by involvement in extra curricular activities on campus or in the community Other Qualifications: Previous Sherwin-Williams internship/co-op experience is strongly preferred Demonstrated leadership skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Problem solving ability Organizational and time management skills Project Management skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Problem solving ability Organizational and time management skills Project Management skills Who we are - At Sherwin-Williams, we're proud of the company we keep our family of loyal employees.
