places. The SWAT (Sherwin Williams Application Training) program is an
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) application training and development
program within Global Supply Chain IT. As part of this training program,
participants will receive a comprehensive training program at
Sherwin-Williams facilities. After initial training, individuals will
have the opportunity to participate in rotational assignments for 18-30
months that include production support, application optimization, and
application enhancements to meet project and implementation
requirements. SWAT participants will be assigned a mentor to provide
support, answer questions, review work products, and provide feedback.
The program begins on July 16, 2018 with training bootcamp that will
last 10-12 days (mandatory attendance). The candidate(s) will have the
opportunity to gain IT experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Order Management * Manufacturing * Planning/Forecasting * Distribution
(warehouse management) * Financials *All rotations will be located at
our Corporate Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio Upon completion of the
training program, the incumbent will transition to a full-time
Functional or Technical position on one of the Global ERP internal
teams. Essential Functions ** ** Strategy and Planning *
Contribute to quarterly team work plans * Investigate and recommend
improvements for the business analysis process * Research tools to
identify those that can best help serve the needs of clients ** **
Acquisition and Deployment * Participate in project discovery
through requirements gathering, analysis, design documentation, and
impact analysis for application changes. * Plan and organize tasks,
report progress, and coordinate with other team members for
implementation. Operational Management * Create and maintain system
documentation. * Utilize existing systems to track and manage requests
and issues. * Provide business reports to management and clients.
Incidental Functions * Assist with other projects as necessary to
contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the team. * Up to 25%
travel as required (domestic and international). * Work outside the
standard office 7.5 hour workday may be required. Position
Requirements Formal Education & Certification * Bachelor degree in
Business, IT or related field. Knowledge & Experience * 0-1 year IT
and/or Business experience. * Basic knowledge of software development
and support methodologies. * Basic understanding of essential business
functions of an organization. * Versed in Microsoft Office applications.
