About the Role:

Join Ace Hardware & Home Center as a Small Engine Repair/Sales Associate, where you'll combine your passion for small engines with exceptional customer service. Be part of a dynamic team in Portales, NM, and help our customers keep their equipment running smoothly while providing expert sales advice.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair small engines, including Sthil trimmers & chainsaws

Assist customers in selecting the right products and accessories for their needs.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and showroom.

Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.

Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.

Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Previous experience in small engine repair or related field preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Technical training in small engine repair is a plus.
