    Job Description

    Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Software Developer to join our Business Technology team. In this role, you’ll combine problem-solving, programming, and technical management to support and enhance the systems that power our business. You’ll provide hands-on application and project support, perform daily integration activities, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

    This role is a Hyflex opportunity, requiring an estimated 1-day per week onsite at our Red Wing, MN corporate office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions for assigned systems.
    • Perform daily integration activities, including prioritizing incidents and coordinating work assignments.
    • Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using C#, Azure Functions, and related cloud technologies, as assigned.
    • Build and maintain continuous integration/deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
    • Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow software development best practices, including code reviews and version control.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    • Experience with continuous integration and deployment, ideally using Azure DevOps.
    • Proficiency in C# and MS Azure functions.

    Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving, issue identification, and technical documentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
    • Creative problem-solving skills.
    • Basic software development lifecycles.
    • Knowledge of serverless concepts and developing cloud-based integrations.
    • Proficiency in working with GIT repositories and performing pull requests.

    Beneficial but Not Required

    • Experience with RESTful API development.
    • Knowledge of BICEP for Azure infrastructure as code.
    • Familiarity with Azure Service Bus for messaging.
    • Basic understanding of Python.
    • Service-oriented architecture and dependency management.
    • Unit testing using industry best practices.
    • Object-oriented knowledge and practical experience with design patterns.
    • Basic understanding of T-SQL
    • Agile or SAFe methodologies.
    • Experience with event-driven architecture, utilizing pub/sub design patterns and APIs
