WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Utilize basic to moderately advanced PL/SQL and/or Java technical skills to support Maintenance of Business tasks
Performance tune software as needed
Provide technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support
Participate in the Design, Development & Testing of software applications
Create and maintain technical documentation
Create and maintain Prod & non-Prod issue resolution documentation
Work in a team environment in supporting the team goals, and improving application development and engineering practices
Develop code consistent with A&F standard coding practices
Collaborate with others to determine business-specific application needs
Collaborate with Technical Leads, functional business leads and IT partners to provide a high level of customer service
Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies as part of the Scrum Team
Work with project team to define and break down requirements
Assist Technical Leads, Scrum Master and BAs in developing Feature Plans, including advising on dependencies
Stay Curious and Push Boundaries to keep up to date with industry trends and developments
Assist in performing troubleshooting as required across all environments (Prod & non-Prod)
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
2-3 years of experience in an application development environment
Oracle Retail experience preferred
Basic GitLab and SVN knowledge
Experience with Oracle Forms (preferred), pro*c, shell script (basics), SQL developer/TOAD
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment, and production support.
Excellent communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Great collaboration and communication skills
Introductory knowledge in the Agile Methodology and in Jira
Ability to understand and manage risks
Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
Ability to work on a team and deliver in a fast paced, changing environment
