Overview:
As a Costing Analytics Analyst Intern, you will support the identification and communication of analytics related to private brand cost of goods optimization
"What you'll do" (Requirements)
PRESENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING
- Conduct analysis, determine insights and collaborate with different stakeholders
- Manage & examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to help the businesses make more strategic decisions.
DATA MANIPULATION AND VISUALIZATION
- Leverage a suite of analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and others to conduct analysis on spend and costing data to identify spend optimization and cost reduction opportunities (e.g. regression analysis, multi-scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, cost-benefit analysis)
- Support Sr Cost Analytics Analyst in identifying key insights from analyses, cutting through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications on sourcing strategy approach
- Provide analysis to inform insights, reporting on findings and using analyses to help sourcing team prepare for critical vendor negotiations and overall company decision making initiatives
- Support Sourcing Optimizing tool RFQ events

- Undergraduate Junior in science, finance or other quantitative field
- Passion & curiosity for data and analysis
- Familiarity with google sheets, Excel formulas and pivots
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to translate analysis into insights
- Preferred
- Tableau/Qlik experience
