  • Responsibilities

    About the Role

    As a Sourcing Intern – Costing Analytics, you will help identify and communicate analytics related to optimizing private brand cost of goods.

    What You’ll Do

    ● Conduct analysis, derive insights and collaborate with various stakeholders

    ● Manage and analyze large datasets to identify trends, develop charts and create visual presentations that support strategic decision-making

    ● Utilize analytics tools to analyze spend and costing data, identifying opportunities for spend optimization and cost reduction (e.g., regression analysis, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, cost-benefit analysis)

    ● Extract key insights from analyses, synthesizing large amounts of data to identify trends and their implications for sourcing strategy

    ● Provide analysis to inform insights and reporting findings, and utilize analyses to prepare the sourcing team for critical vendor negotiations and company decision-making initiatives

    ● Additional tasks may be assigned

    What Skills You Have

    Required

    ● Undergraduate Junior in Science, Finance or other quantitative-related field

    ● Passion and curiosity for data and analysis

    ● Proficiency in Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)

    ● Strong written and verbal communication skills

    ● Ability to translate analysis into actionable insights

    Preferred

    ● Math Major

    ● Finance Major

    ● Statistics Major

    ● Engineering Major

    ● Experience with Tableau/Qlik
