The Highlights The Complex Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for organizing and controlling orders in various systems and/or tools for highly complex coax or fiber orders. This role performs quality checks on all service installation and construction contracts to ensure accuracy. Maintains a postive working relationship with boundary partners and clients until order fullfillment is completed. A positive attitude, attention to detail and focus on the client experience is required. What You Will Do -Manage multiple high value complex coax and fiber orders for extended periods of time. Ensure the client maintains current services until service activation is completed -Process sales orders and service orders for new, upgrade, downgrade and disconnect request in the appropriate activation and/or billing system(s) with precision within defined timelines. Conduct quality checks on all sales and service orders -Cross reference all service agreements in the appropriate database(s) to ensure order accuracy -Coordinate complex service activations with the client for upgrades, installs and special request -Negotiate release dates for orders with one or more accounts that contain a large number of telephone numbers. Partner with local exchange carriers (LEC) to resolve order issues and obtain firm order confirmation (FOC) to move telephone numbers between carriers -Collaborate with boundary partners on questions or status of a client orders. Address escalations in a professional and timely manner -Update or adjust client accounts, as deemed appropriate -Adhere to productivity standards to ensure all order fulfillment duties are handled in a timely and efficient manner with accuracy -Maintain a thorough understanding of the billing process including, but not limited to, pro-rates, non-pays, rate increases, adjustments, credits, discounts, collections, renewals, and billing equations -Stay abreast of departmental processes, procedures and guidelines to ensure integrity in all order fulfillment related activitiesRequired Keys for Success -Ability to read, write, speak and understand English -Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward and professional manner -Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment -Must be proficient in all order fulfillment processes and business rules -Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and business data at all times -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists -Must have the ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables and standardized situations -Must possess organizing, prioritization and decision making skills -Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the department in a proactive and professional manner -Ability to build working relationships to effectively work with teams throughout the organization -Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents -Ability to effectively present information to leadership in a logical and professional manner -Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form -Ability to work independently -Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems -Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties -Ability to handle projects and tasks while meeting deadlines -Advanced level proficiency in appropriate software applications or technology -Advanced knowledge and skills required for this job -2 years professional work experience in business operations roles such as order management, billing, accounts receivable, or accounts payable -2 years professional work experience performing advanced and complex data processing working with multiple platforms while maintaining accuracy -1 year Proficient in CRM tools, billing tools and MS Office software with the technical aptitude to learn additional databases as requiredHow You Will Stand Out from the Crowd -Experience in the cable, telecommunication or technology based industryYour Education -Associate's degree (A.
