    • Understand Target’s digital strategy and work with business and operations teams to develop key analytics and tracking/reporting mechanisms

    • Utilize industry & proprietary search data to analyze key & trending retail assortment themes in order to influence digital assortment acquisition strategies

    • Collect and analyze data, research competitors and identify trends in order to develop recommendations for  best-in-class experiences to drive search traffic

    • Develop deep understanding of how category level assortment, taxonomy, and content influence search engine rankings

    • Create detailed business plans, including assortment recommendations, to improve search engine ranking results

    • Work cross-functionally with site taxonomy, internal search, SEO & SEM teams to advocate for category specific needs to drive search traffic

    • Proven SEM experience with strong research and analytical skills; retail experience preferred
    • BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
    • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
    • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to peers and stake holders
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt project plans and tasks to changes
    • Passionate about the digital space, specifically SEO/SEM
    • Detail oriented
    • Creative problem solving skills
