ABOUT THE ROLE As a Lead Data Science Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to drive inclusive, end-to-end recruiting campaigns to hire for our best-in-class Algorithms organization, which includes our Data Science, Data Platform and Data Engineering teams. From planning to sourcing through assessment and offer acceptance stages, you will drive full-cycle recruiting  efforts and ensure that we continue to  deliver exceptional candidate experiences while working to streamline our processes to scale.  You will partner closely with other recruiters, hiring managers and senior leadership to build effective recruiting strategies to anticipate both short and long-term business needs, and will leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to highlight strengths and opportunities to evolve our talent acquisition practices. 

The ideal candidate is familiar with attracting and engaging diverse talent within data science and engineering communities, and has the industry knowledge to identify and incorporate relevant market intelligence into our hiring strategies and coaching conversations with managers. Success calls for a rigorous bar for candidate quality, an innovative and data-driven approach to problem-solving, and operating with a high degree of empathy and integrity in all interactions with candidates and business partners.

• Own end-to-end recruiting processes for our Algorithms organization  -- plan, attract, source, assess, and close -- for mid-level and senior technical roles 
• Leverage data and market intelligence to develop talent strategy recommendations that measurably improve the organization's hiring outcomes
• Drive top-of-funnel talent pipelines to expand our candidate pools with an emphasis on diversity, equity & inclusion
• Work closely with bright and kind leaders from our Algorithms team who are highly engaged with recruiting and passionate about their craft
• Build enduring recruiting capabilities by prioritizing programs and opportunities that enable systemic improvements in our recruiting model
• Contribute to a highly collaborative, creative, and high-performing technical recruiting team by serving as a model for partnership, mentorship, and integrity

• You have at least 6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience for various technical functions, including 2+ years recruiting for data science talent 
• You are an experienced talent partner to leadership; driving improvements in talent acquisition strategy at every stage of your career
• You develop your own data analysis and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to hiring partners and senior leadership
• You are a keen problem-solver, finding innovative and impactful solutions to complex problems
• You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and operate with a high degree of empathy and integrity for both candidates and hiring partners
