This position is accountable for supporting all special projects and new concepts for all our North American Store Banners. Projects include the development and maintenance of AutoCAD drawings and creation of new Design Concepts. Accountable for creation of project timelines and budgets as well as pulling all required information to satisfy requirements for either Real Estate Committee (REC) or capital committee approval. Main liaison to the banner and other departments as well as outside contractors and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project aid on all Special Projects/design initiatives/new concepts for all North American Banners including but not limited to Merchandising driven initiatives, Banner driven initiatives, Innovation Team driven initiatives. This position will act as the main liaison for communication to multiple departments to ensure project stays on scope, timeline and budget. Accountable to coordinate with architects, external design firms, engineers, general contractor’s, sub-contractors, and furniture vendors to assure design intent, standards are met

• Review prototype drawings to ensure the design intent meets the construction drawings

• Design liaison for all banners, meet regularly to ensure expectations are being delivered in the execution of the design and construction documents

• Provide design assistance to the purchasing & repair teams when specifications are needed for repairs or replacement

• Support the design process for multiple projects to ensure Architect of Record are maintaining required delivery dates. Provide Architect of Record with scope of work, design criteria and contact information for each project. Review preliminary construction documents and provide feedback to Architect of Record to insure plans maintain the brand standards

• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or similar field

• Anticipated graduation range between December 2023 - December 2024

• Previous experience with project management

• Proficient in Auto Cad and Microsoft Office

• Experience with Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp

• Must be able to provide portfolio or work examples prior to the interview process

Work Environment:

• Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

• Part-time hours (20/week) at 6-12 months based on assignments

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
