    Business Analyst - Subarunet Location: New Jersey, Cherry Hill Category: Information Technology Description Summary: The position helps implement customer-centric solutions in a cost-effective way by learning and comprehending business process, eliciting and documenting requirements, and communicating clearly to business and technology. This role requires a certain level of business acumen coupled with technical knowledge. The successful candidate will possess experience with full life-cycle application development along with exposure to: evaluating, coordinating and creating deliverables; meeting with customers, and resolving issues. The role works across functional boundaries to connect-the-dots between IT department products and services. Responsibilities: Responsible for communications between IT, internal business partners, Retailers and providers. Responsible for defining and documenting requirements, systems testing, internal & external support and issue management and resolution. Assists in evaluating and proposing solutions that maximize investments and drive business value across departments and partners. Analyze and clearly articulate potential solutions. Develops comprehensive understanding of business processes, define as-is/to-be business models and build strong working rapport with business users. Articulates business and functional requirements into technical deliverables. Acts as liaison to the business throughout project life cycle to ensure requirements and project goals are satisfied by delivered IT software applications. Identifies, tracks, and escalates issues and risks in a timely manner. Creates business requirements, functional design documents and process flow diagrams. Explores innovative solutions while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction. Assists in expanding enterprise capabilities, using a best-of-breed IT approach, integrating existing Enterprise solutions and legacy systems. Ability to train non-experienced and experienced end-users on system usage, both in writing and verbally.  Required Skills and Abilities: Experience gathering software requirements. Experience writing functional and technical specifications. Experience creating test plans and test cases. Experience leading meetings, coordinating deliverables, and resolving issues. Experience interfacing with databases and writing SQL statements. Proven experience interfacing with customers and development teams. Able to translate complex information into common terms. Strong organization, facilitation and administration skills. Strong written and oral communications skills including presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills and organizational/data management skills. Strong ability to understand, analyze and solve business problems. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative to find solutions. Excels in building relationships with the business users, Retailers and partner organizations. Education/Experience: BA/BS and 2 to 4 years of related experience.
