Our client a large Investment Management firm based in the NJ/NY area is currently looking for a Junior Tax Ops Analyst to begin working right away!

** Pay Rate Range: $22-25/hour**

Primary Responsibilities for the Role:
- Review and ensure the accuracy of tax reporting, including 1099 and 1042-S forms.
- Update and maintain Excel files to reflect accurate reporting values.
- Verify that participant data is correct and up to date.
- Obtain necessary approvals, document, and confirm successful submissions according to jurisdictional requirements.
- Ensure that tax filings and reports for clients are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and validate both federal and state tax filings for accuracy.
- Contribute to the annual tax production plan, ensuring all relevant tasks are accounted for throughout the year.
- Perform required testing on tax forms to ensure accuracy through preliminary reviews.
- Manage special client requirements, including amendments to tax forms when needed.
- Audit tax form generation to ensure completion for all clients.

- Familiarity with U.S. reporting requirements for global employee share plans.

- Ability to identify and address business deficiencies through the tax production process.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate swift issue resolution.
- Experience with employee share plans and tax production is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies.
- Quick learner with a solid understanding of the Internet, e-commerce, and equities.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to embrace continuous change.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and consistently exceed expectations.
** Qualifications:**
· Recently Graduated/ Experience in tax, accounting, finance, or other related fields (6 months to 3 years)
· Experience with tax reporting (1099/1042-S) - at least 6 months to 2 YOE)
· Advanced spreadsheet skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Communication skills
· Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
