• Las Vegas, NV 89109 As a Slot Guest Services Representative, you will be in the middle of the action as you revel in the energy created by the state-of-the-art slot machines at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Your comprehensive knowledge and hands-on leadership will be an inspiration to your fellow coworkers, facilitating the sophisticated, but always fun slot action for our guests. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following: * Maintain complete knowledge of all department and company policies and procedures. * Maintain confidentiality of pertinent gaming data. * Accept responsibility for pouch amount, pay jackpots, and make change for guests while protecting company assets. * Promotes departmental and property-wide promotions while developing guests play by signing them up for an Identity Player's Club card. * Request identification from any guest appearing to look under 21 years of age. * Notify supervisor or above of any suspicious activity. * Basic knowledge of EZ-Pay redemption and JDU, and operating a two-way radio. * Knowledge of minor machine malfunctions. * Initiates and maintains communication with Management, employees and other departments. * Provide exceptional guest service that differentiates us from the competition. * Responsible for complying with T31 and AML/SARC compliance policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * At least one year of slot floor experience. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. * Ability to accurately and efficiently correct minor machine malfunctions, process ticket fills, pay jackpots. * Ability to make cash transactions with guests. * Ability to safeguard company assets and enhance the guest gaming experience to maximize slot revenue. * Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. * Ability to prioritize and organize. * Ability to follow directions and procedures thoroughly. * Ability to work as a team and independently. * Ability to handle a significant number of guests with outstanding customer service skills. * Ability to adhere to Title 31 requirements. * Ability to adhere to signature requirements. * Ability to develop and maintain a strong positive relationship with fellow employees. * T31/SARC knowledge. * High School Diploma or GED. * At least 21 years of age. Preferred: * Experience working with EZ-Pay redemption. * Previous slot experience at a major strip property. * Bachelor's degree in a related field. Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary. Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Requires bending and reaching. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires use of standard office equipment. Requires basic math. Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
