Tiffany is researching the application of additive manufacturing (AM) as part of its ongoing innovation efforts. Responsibilities * Equipment ecosystem leadership, including equipment adjustments to optimize production outputs * Design and initiate processes for atomized metal for the operation of related production equipment. Performs analysis and tests to aid in the development of new and improved AM processes and their applications to various products. * Collaborate with additive manufacturing directions in order to perform print set-up, calibration, and optimization of additive machinery * Develop written work instructions to define workflow of complex equipment and components * Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and external partners * Apply scientific/quantitative solutions focused on improved manufacturability across all of TCO component/product lines. * Report and analyze procedural deviation and non-conformance * Develop processes to support operational readiness * Support the implementation of industry best practices in process development and execution Qualifications Required: * MS in Mechanical Engineering; Materials Engineering; Material Science; or Metallurgy * Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in additive manufacturing (this could include university ) * Minimum 2 years of experience with metal additive manufacturing components/machinery and maintenance * Minimum 1 year of experience establishing processes for powder handling and seiving, machine operations, machine maintenance, post print inspection, and post processing of components * Able to read technical drawings and analyze complex problems * Fluent with Microsoft Office packages * Proficient in English(both written and oral) * CAD, and Rapid Prototyping methods experience * Ability to work in a small team atmosphere * Demonstated strong communication skills Preferred: * 3-5 years experience in operations of Binder Jet additive manufacturing equipment * Metallurgical experience in the spherodization of metal alloys
