UX DESIGNER (CO-OP)

WORKING REMOTE – LAB LOCATIONS QUINCY, MA

Then come and join our Propulsion Labs team at Retail Business Services, a proud company of Ahold Delhaize, a startup environment in the middle of a big corporate office. We are looking for passionate and curious problem solvers who are not afraid of working in a fast-paced environment alongside a multidisciplinary team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Product Owners and Stakeholders to collect project requirements

• Assist in conducting Design Thinking workshops/exercise to assist our Brands with understand their project ask

• Conduct interviews with end users

• Conduct primary and secondary research

• Provide feedback during sessions to help other designers on the team

• Work closely with UI Designer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with information architecture, interaction design and user experience for mobile and web solutions

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

• Comfortable interfacing with business contacts to gather business requirements and feedback on our solutions with the team’s product owner

• Focus on modern and emerging design trends

• Understanding of design concepts and strong ability to design applications with focus on usefulness and usability

• Have a passion for Design Thinking Methodologies and teaching others the benefits

• Prior experience using design tools at (at least 1 year) (Adobe Suite, Sketch / Figma, etc.)

• Online portfolio is a must

• Experience with moderated usability testing a plus
