The User Experience Designer, Intern will support the domain design teams in their day-to-day work on the Signet e-commerce platform and our design system. This internship will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a corporate design environment seeing how creative decisions are made and how work gets accomplished.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the Creative Directors and Designers in their daily design activities

• Attending meetings with cross-functional teams

• Performing production design work in Figma under the supervision of Designers and Creative Directors

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in human centered design, user experience design, communication design, or related field

• Graduation date range of August 2023- May 2024

• Working knowledge of Figma (Sketch, Adobe Xd, or InVision may be considered) and Photoshop

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Portfolio of personal work including student projects, class projects, passion projects, etc

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

• Full-time (40 hour/12 weeks) Summer Internship

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
