OUR TECHNOLOGIES: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server, Active Directory, G Suite, Microsoft Azure, O365, AWS, KACE, Jamf, Tenable, Crowdstrike, VOIP telephony, BlueJeans, WebEx, networking, and our own proprietary SaaS software. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Under minimal supervision: Architect, implement and maintain an Okta infrastructure Drive the remediation of audit (SOX/PCI/GDPR) findings Coordinate rollout of incremental security applications and policies Provide general Linux and Windows server and desktop administration and troubleshooting Actively participate in infrastructure capacity planning Create PowerShell scripts/modules for automating daily systems administration tasks for Windows platform Manage, monitor and troubleshooting daily processes and propose improvements/additional features Establish, maintain, and adhere to Vets First Choice technical standards, policies and procedures Maintain health and availability of global Active Directory forest Provide second and third-level support to our employees for all IT-related concerns QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science and/or related years of experience 2-5 years of System Administrator experience and associated technology experience Experience administering Windows and Linux (*nix) systems Experience implementing and administering an SSO (Okta). Familiarity with email, FTP, DHCP, DNS, and HTTP technologies Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies -- IIS, SCCM, SCOM, WSUS, Windows Clustering a plus Understand and implement Group Policy objects Scripting and automation ability, especially in Powershell, VBScript, and/or PHP, a large plus. Understanding of Windows Deployment Services Familiarity with compliance requirements for policies like PCI and SOX Experience in asset management and maintenance (hardware tracking, patching/updates, etc) COMPETENCIES (Skills and Abilities) Strong customer service orientation. Ability to multitask and set priorities and juggle numerous tasks and priorities while maintaining a productive flow of work Ability to project manage and see a project through to completion Produces consistently accurate work with attention to detail even when under pressure Demonstrates good follow through on information and project status Picks up on technical issues quickly and can learn new skills and knowledge Keeps up to date on technology related to job function. Communicates clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
