What you can expect: Functions as the primaryand strategic link to the business by partnering with specific departments tofulfill Human Resource needs. Helps both the assigned department and individualemployee maneuver through various Human Resource processes and procedures.Serves as the primary advocate for individual employees by knowing andunderstanding issues, facilitating problem solving to address concerns, andensures positive employee relations by balancing both company and employeeperspectives. Detailed Responsibilities: * Support the effective implementation &execution of key business & human resources initiatives. Recommend newapproaches, policies, & procedures to effect continual improvements inefficiency of department & services performed. * Serve as employee point-of-contact to addressquestions concerning human resources policies, payroll & employee benefits. * Explain company compensation and benefitprograms, such as medical, insurance, retirement, and savings plans, andenrolls workers in specified programs. * Provide coaching to leaders in support ofperformance management, employee relations and human resources policy &benefits administration issues. Guide leaders on effective solutions foraddressing disciplinary & other complex issues. * Provide local support for performancemanagement process (PMP), merit pay & bonus programs. * Identify local workforce issues & recommendorganizational strategies & interventions. * Interview employees and discuss with personnel,human relations, and work-related problems that adversely affect moral, health,and productivity. * Promote positive employee relations &performance via employee communications & employee engagement activities.Develop & implement employer of choice practices. * Evaluates and resolve human relations, employeerelations, and work-related problems, and meet with management to determineappropriate action. * Counsel employees regarding work, family, orpersonal problems. * Serves as primary advocate for employees.Balance advocate role for both the employee and the company. * Administer or coordinate with corporatepoints-of-contact as appropriate employee increases, records, leaves of absence& disability process, FMLA, & all other human resources policies.Process employee data transactions & update human resources informationsystem accordingly. * Facilitate &/or coordinate new employeeorientation & new supervisor training to ensure that employees receivecritical information to help them acclimate & be successful in their newwork environment &/or positions. Identify employee training &development needs & facilitate &/or coordinate resources to enhance organizationallearning * Support recruiting activities for departmentsthey are responsible for Required Experience * Bachelor Degree or advanced degree orequivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field * 3-5 years job related experience * Knowledge of all functional areas of HumanResources * Proven communications, presentation, andfacilitation skills * Thorough understanding of federal & stateemployment, labor, health & safety laws (OSHA) * Competent counseling, coaching and conflict ** ** **Bonus Experience ** ** ** * PHR or SPHR Certified Human ResourcesProfessional Designation * Experience with SAP Personnel ManagementSystems We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
