    Analyst, CRM - Pottery Barn -Date:May 24, 2018 Location:San Francisco, CA, US Requisition Number: PB-13039 Area of Interest: Marketing Organization: Corporate Brand/Division: Pottery Barn Position Type: Full-time JOB DESCRIPTION About the Role The Analyst, CRM will contribute to the planning, execution, and analysis of direct marketing strategies to drive the Pottery Barn business. They will help the Sr. Analyst and/or Manager execute and manage seasonal circulation plans to drive profitable growth and to acquire new, retain existing, and reactivate customers. They will work closely with our Customer Insights team to execute our catalog name selection process and execute test designs that best optimize pages, frequency, reach, and format. They will work with a team of cross-functional partners on various marketing initiatives such as the New Mover program, Registry Marketing, and new store opening marketing campaigns. Great excel skills and the ability to manage a budget (tracking and reconciling) are highly important attributes. Ability to adapt to change, thrive in ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing multi-channel retail environment is a must. Manage Print Planning and Execution * Participate in developing circulation and sales plans for direct mail and other marketing campaigns * Execute catalog production including test design, print specifications and all approvals

    • Maintain results histories to inform planning and key circ docs including production schedule, in-home calendar, print summary, catalog inventories * Participate in and contribute to test design helping to ensure design yields actionable results * Analyze and report catalog and direct mail campaign performance, test results, etc. leveraging the latest attribution tools Program Management * Support non-catalog direct marketing programs such as New Mover, Friends & Family, Top Customer promotions and new store opening marketing * Complete creative briefs that enable creative team to deliver best possible print pieces * Review & approve collateral from creative against brief and provide initial feedback * Select & partner with print vendors to deliver optimal creative pieces within budgeted guidelines * Request/test/release/track/turn on/off promo codes in Promotion Gateway Tool for all direct marketing programs * Communicate with field team and call center team where necessary on key marketing programs * Pull program results across all marketing channels; participate in summarizing findings * Analyze results, work with key internal partners as needed, make recommendations for changes/improvements Sales and Costs
