About the Team You will be a key part of the joint Marketing+Technology team that is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing the customer experience and marketing data innovations that drive Williams-Sonoma Inc.'s industry leading digital business. Primary Function: Work with the Customer Information Management and Brand teams to execute catalog and other direct-to-consumer, data-driven marketing programs, including mailfile selection and creation, campaign set-up, testing, and deployment. Specific Responsibilities * Manage WSI's overall catalog production process by overseeing and troubleshooting campaign set-up, maintaining and streamlining the production schedule, and executing campaign selections using the MBS methodology (WSI's proprietary campaign management solution) * Monitor, update, and publish the production schedule by keeping track of all upcoming due dates on the schedule and making sure all deliverables are on time * Use Ab Initio (or Informatica ETL) and SQL to create the mailfile for each campaign according to the brands' specifications * Manage pre-campaign planning between the Brand and Customer Information Management teams * Deliver accurate and timely list pulls for other digital marketing programs, including social media, display advertising, SEM, and more * Juggle multiple mailfile creations and list pulls at once by optimizing time management, planning, and organization * Translate business requests into database queries, using SQL to deliver counts and reports that help others within the company gain a better understanding of our customers * Analyze multiple data sources and databases to diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve various data issues * Research and understand data sources, meaning and importance * Perform and review daily data loading to and exporting from the Marketing customer database * Monitor the quality of data processes by building reports and performing checks of inputs and outputs * Manage invoice coding and tracking, prepare budget reconciliation quarterly summaries, and assemble next year's budget recommendations * Identify system/business process failures and dynamically develop short-term work-arounds and long-term solutions. * Use intellectual creativity to solve system and business problems or improve inefficiencies REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree * At least 1 year experience with SQL * Experience with campaign management such Unica/Epiphany a plus * Experience with Excel, Unix, Ab Initio, and Informatica ETL is a plus * Motivation and aptitude for learning new skills quickly * Desire to work on both technical and non-technical projects * Ability to manage many different kinds of work * Excellent analytical skills * Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to optimize time management in order to meet all deadlines * Enjoying working in a team environment * Flexibility and willingness to help others whenever possible Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
