Our fully immersive Summer 2023 Internship Program is specifically designed to provide you with experience and knowledge to better equip you for success after graduation. You will gain experience in a collaborative and inclusive environment with exposure to a variety of peers and leaders to assist with the cultivation of your business acumen and intuition, professional communication skills, and ability to network in a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to our focus on enhancing your skills, you will be involved in projects and assignments that directly impact the business - now that is real-world experience!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOCKTON INTERN:

The Summer Intern class of 2023 will journey together through various learning sessions hosted by Lockton subject matter experts, valued clients, strategic trading partners and through our state-of-the-art online learning application, Cornerstone. Each intern will be assigned a Learning Partner who will shepherd the role specific day-to-day learning opportunities within one of Lockton Texas Series' practice teams. Interns will have an opportunity to represent Lockton in select client interactions through participation in renewal strategy sessions, review of risk analysis data, building towers of insurance or formulating material for market engagement. The intern class will work in small groups to research, network, and prepare material for a live group presentation on a topic or concept of insurance. In the spirit of Jack Lockton's passion for our communities, the interns will also join forces by completing a community service project.

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL INTERN WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be enrolled in your Sophomore, Junior or Senior year of college (May 2023 graduates are eligible to apply and can be considered for full-time positions after completion of the program)

• Committed to participating in the duration of the Summer 2023 Internship Program (6/12 - 8/4)

• Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including 2-3 days in-office

• Interest in pursuing a career within the Insurance field is a plus

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of Associates and/or Clients

• Strong technical aptitude (Microsoft Office Suite)

• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information

• Effective organizational and time management skills

• Demonstrate strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Excitement and natural curiosity to learn and develop in a supportive environment

• Legally able to work in the United States
