    SUMMARY

    Provide general administrative and client support to the Health Risk Solutions (HRS) team consisting of a Director and Consultants. Assist in all HRS Team activities for the development of long term, customized worksite health risk management and health promotion programs for employer clients through analysis of a client's demographics, health culture, health claims, prevalent disease states and other factors impacting the client's health care costs.

    DUTIES

    • Assist HRS Director and Consultants in data collection and analysis to identify key disease states within employer (client) populations.
    • Provide coordination within the team to develop recommendations for the employer to address prominent health-related issues.
    • Assist in the understanding of long-term health promotion programs best practices for client populations; identify & assess resources to provide health promotion/management programs; coordinate and monitor the performance of all outsourced vendors; monitor and report on results and value of investment for the client.
    • Learn and maintain a solid knowledge of all wellness vendors and carrier wellness capabilities and programs.
    • Assist in the development of presentation to clients and prospective clients.
    • Meet regularly with unit service teams to support and evaluate ongoing programs.
    • Travel as necessary to take notes at client worksites.
    • Research case studies, articles and other supporting documents to demonstrate the need for a potential outcome of suggested programs.
    • Vendor management. Assist in cataloging vendor capabilities and marketplace updates within the unit and nationally.
    • Provide broad administrative support with meeting planning and setup, calendar management, file organization, internal newsletter publication and electronic records management.
    • Provide coordination within the team to develop solutions for employers to address prominent health-related issues, using reputable resources and evidence-based recommendations.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 1-3 years of experience with worksite health promotion programs or a bachelor's degree in a health-related field (public health administration/policy, nutrition, nursing, health education, health informatics, health promotion, health care management, etc.).
    • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary to visit Lockton clients and prospective clients.
    • Advanced working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
    • Familiarity with worksite wellness industry and vendors a plus.
    • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
    • Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
    • Ability/willingness to interact with clients, vendors, and insurance carriers on a professional level, in person and by telephone, to address issues that produce optimum results in a timely manner.
