RESPONSIBILITIES

Internships generally begin in the first part of June and are temporary, full-time positions. Internships typically last 8 to 10 weeks, depending on Lockton's needs. After a brief orientation, Interns will shadow a designated Lockton associate in several client service areas for a period of time, which provides an opportunity to experience various specialties within our insurance brokerage organization. Typical duties are:

• Preparing spreadsheets

• Researching a prospect or current client online

• Financial analysis

• Checking carrier rating worksheets

• Processing policy endorsements/riders

• Attending meetings and taking meeting notes

• Assisting with report writing and presentation design

• Attending educational training and orientation sessions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Students who are in their junior year of their undergraduate program.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
