    2022 Summer Internship - Sales Intern

    Our fully immersive Summer 2022 Internship Program is designed to provide you with experience and knowledge to better equip you for success after graduation. You will gain experience in a collaborative and inclusive environment with exposure to a variety of peers and leaders to assist with the cultivation of your business acumen and intuition, professional communication skills, and ability to network in a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to our focus on enhancing your skills, you will be involved in projects and assignments that directly impact the business - now that is real-world experience!

    Duties of a sales intern:

    • Identifying and researching new potential business clients and geographies for Lockton
    • Compiling target contact lists
    • Assisting with email and social media reach outs under supervision of licensed broker
    • Assisting in coordination of client/prospective client events
    • Listen and compile notes in new business calls and meetings

    The most successful intern will meet the following qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in your junior year of college
    • Committed to participating in the duration of the Summer 2022 Internship Program (June 6 th - July 29 th )
    • Interest in pursuing a career within the Insurance field is a plus
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of Associates and/or Clients
    • Strong technical aptitude (Microsoft Office Suite)
    • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
