  • Responsibilities

    The Recruiter will perform full cycle recruiting from sourcing candidates to placement of qualified individuals. The successful candidate will have experience in talent attraction and management, employer branding, sourcing strategies, behavioral interviewing, and applicant tracking systems. You will partner closely with Lockton’s leaders and HR Business Partners to identify and attract top talent to the organization across a large business segment. This candidate will be an organizational expert, work effectively with internal clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the knowledge to ask the right questions, listen to the customer’s needs, diagnose the issues and then prescribe a plan of action.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Utilize a combination of recruiting techniques to build and engage networks; attract, assess, and hire diverse, highly competitive talent.
    • Develop new, innovative, scalable, and effective end-to-end experiences to attract and recruit talent from traditional and non-traditional channels. Partner closely with the business and HR to reduce turnover.
    • Collaborate and strategize with HR and hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle from identification, assessment, through selection and offer.
    • Define, design, and implement recruiting programs and drive sourcing strategy to maintain high volume and quality talent pipelines. Market career opportunities leveraging Lockton’s unique brand and culture.
    • Support DE&I efforts; develop strategic recruitment plans to diversify candidate pools and facilitate equity in hiring and decision making.
    • Manage job requisitions by reviewing, screening, and actively engaging and qualifying candidates. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within Lockton’s ATS (Taleo).
    • Build strong relationships with active and passive candidates; establish regular touch points and provide diligent follow through ensuring a positive candidate experience.
    • Collaborate with HR teams to share industry competitive intelligence; analyze and report on market trends.
    • Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position.
    • Comply with Lockton procedures and policies.
    • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2- 4 years of recruitment experience, including national search experience in a corporate environment or with an executive search firm required. Insurance industry, hospitality, or other service industry experience preferred.
    • Experience hiring for numerous vacancies, simultaneously, in an extremely competitive labor market.
    • Proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing passive candidates.
    • Ability to draft job descriptions and translate must-have qualifications into interview questions and candidate assessments.
    • Excellent communicator and relationship builder who can engage new people with confidence and positively represent the organization.
    • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, humility, cultural competence, feedback skills, and the ability to sustain trusted relationships with a wide array of people.
    • Results oriented and organized with a strong sense of urgency and can quickly prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines.
    • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (preferably Taleo), data management/reporting techniques, MS Suite, and collaboration tools.
    • Working knowledge of employment law, state and federal rules and regulations related to recruitment and employment processes.
    • Experience planning and facilitating behavioral-based interview training for managers a plus.
