“Winki” is a new dating startup looking for creative marketing and social media coordinators to join our team in writing, producing and editing content to amplify brand messaging and building customer loyalty across social media ecosystems (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat and Medium).
The successful candidate must have the ability to create content that will create buzz and hype while maintaining customer engagement as we ramp up closer to product launch for our dating app.
Superior service through listening, problem solving, and empathy using effective responses to inbound posts, comments, tweets, etc. on Company content.
The Social Media Specialist must have a keen understanding of social media in general.
The strongest applicants will have a passion for staying on the cutting edge of social media best practices and a familiarity with using social media for lead generation and customer engagement.
Lead social media content, messaging, campaigns, and stories across current distribution channels -- Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Medium -- and explore new channels to increase our reach and relevance.
Conceive and present new ideas/social stories for communicating Winki’s message, mission and product benefits for distribution across social media social [dating, fashion, arts, beauty, entertainment, pop culture, music, new dating hot spots such as restaurants and clubs]
Manage day-to-day social media accounts and Craft on-brand, timely, appropriate social replies to dialogue with customers
Monitor brand across target social media networks and actively mine social conversations for relevant information and opportunities to engage further --- specific focus on business development opportunities/lead generation.
Connect with students or influencers to create content that would be relevant in promoting our dating app
Identify on-brand, on-message opportunities to boost Winki’s social media presence.
Work with various team members to strengthen and optimize content creation based on performance and objectives.
Ability to rapidly assess, analyze and resolve issues independently even with minimal information.

3-5 years' experience in social media marketing
Proficient with major social media platforms and knowledge of social media analytics tools (HootSuite)
Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to connect a creative vision to the Winki voice and mission
Fluency in dating, pop-culture, current events, and a broad range of media
Experience with seeking opportunities to create lead generation on social media
Great attention to detail, time management, follow-up and multitasking abilities
Basic knowledge of picture and video editing
Work with management to execute social media strategy
Excellent work ethic: get things done attitude to synchronize a successful product launch
