As a Facebook Brand Ambassador you will be in charge of raising awareness and engagement for the Facebook's new product- College Communities. These groups are an exciting new way to connect with people at your school. As an Ambassador, you'll be at the forefront of this new product! We are hiring multiple reps per campus, creating an awesome team of Ambassadors to work together at your university.

Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Identifying campus-specific activation opportunities and brainstorming ways to integrate College Communities into college life and culture.

  • Identifying and developing relationships with admins and leaders of key Facebook groups.

  • Create highly relevant campus groups (e.g., Overheard/Overseen, Sh** People at __ Say, etc.), and identify students, clubs or organizations that will engage in these groups.

  • Be an advocate for how this product adds value to student life on campus, and invite people to join existing groups based on their interest.

  • Collecting and reporting intel to your Manager on how College Communities can be used on your campus.

  • Collecting product feedback and relaying it your manager.


To do this job well you need to be:

  • Outgoing, articulate, responsible individual.

-A strong communicator, both verbal and written.

  • A positive representative of the Facebook brand, which stands for friendship and connection.

  • Someone who loves Facebook and believes in the platform and mission.

  • Active on Facebook and comfortable with social media in general.

  • A highly engaged member of college student life.

  • Able to assist with research and product efforts, able to quickly understand and translate.

  • Interested or passion for tech companies or social media platforms
