  • Responsibilities

    THE POSITION

    • Agents will visit 10-15 stores, working about 20-25 hours in store per week for this 10 month program

    • You will help educate sales associates on New Balance’s newest running shoes, to ensure employees are knowledgeable on New Balance’s latest products

    • You will educate customers in attempts to generate as many sales as possible.

    • Store visits must be completed between Thursday and Sunday.

    • You will be required to drive your own car to and from these retail stores. Most stores will be within 30 miles of your location.

    • Each store visit lasts between 1.5 - 3 hours.

    • You will help capture product data through ThirdChannel's platform which is reported back in real time to the New Balance’s Corporate office.

    THE SKILLS

    • Must have and be able to demonstrate extraordinary communication & organizational skills.

    • Be comfortable working on your own while receiving remote coaching and supervision.

    • Possess an outgoing personality with a desire to positively represent the New Balance brand.

    About 19-23 hrs. per week

    Scheduling Visits

    Thursday through Sunday ONLY You will need a minimum of 3 days a week to complete visits; you are expected to work at least 1 Saturday or Sunday per weekend, so they could work:

    o Thursday, Friday, Saturday

    o Thursday, Friday, Sunday

    o Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

    o Friday, Saturday, Sunday

    · Visits scheduled on a rotating basis

    Visit duration will vary depending on the type of visit – 1.5, 2 or 3hr visits, but each week will have the following visits in March, July, August, September

    o 6 stores with 1.5 hour visits

    o 2 stores with 2 hour visits

    o 2 stores with 3 hour ASSISTED SELLING visits *Saturday & Sunday only

    · *In April, May, June, October, November, December; visits shift to:

    o 4 stores with 1.5 hour visits

    o 2 stores with 2 hour visits

    o 2 stores with 3 hour ASSISTED SELLING visits *Saturday & Sunday only

    Tasks

    ·There will be 2 different types of visits: Assisted Selling (Sat/Sun ONLY) and Core ·The focus will be running shoes, baseball shoes & lifestyle shoes (they will be trained on specific styles)

    Online Training TBD (they need to attend one session) ·Duration 2hrs.

  • Compensation
