Responsible for reporting to and assisting the Program Director with all day-to-day activities in regards to recruitment efforts, candidate sourcing, relationship building with universities and more.

Unique to MSBA is the ability for this person to also contribute across multiple departments including devising content strategies, logistical planning, execution, tracking and reporting for all marketing efforts revolved around recruiting for MSBA 2017.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.

• Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.

• Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.

• Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.

• Maintain and update all company databases, contact lists and group email lists.

• Help execute on-campus marketing campaigns/initiatives.

*Candidates in the greater NYC area who are able to commute to Manhattan strongly preferred but will entertain remote opportunity for strong candidates

To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this internship:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

• Must be able to receive academic credit.

• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

• Proficiency in HR softwares a plus (MSBA proudly uses Greenhouse.io).

• Interpersonal skills – listens to others, works well in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal.

• Previous internship experiences a plus.

• Detail Oriented and extremely organized.
