    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The day-to-day responsibilities of the intern mirror the day-to-day work of the department as a whole. We give interns real work that attorneys are doing to provide them with exposure to the various practice areas/business verticals that we work in. Interns will support work that runs the gamut including, but not limited to, media, social responsibility, partnerships, corporate, finance, compliance, intellectual property, and our affiliate leagues. Interns will get to work on both short- and long-term projects that are happening in real time. Provide support to attorneys on a range of projects happening at any given moment. Interns will be assigned to set projects and have the opportunity to work with lawyers in all different areas. Intern responsibilities will include participating in meetings, doing research, drafting documents, and helping with the daily legal work of the department. Sample of projects interns might work on: drafting youth basketball safety compliance policies and manuals, equity deals, player appearance agreements, data privacy work.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

    Strong research and writing skills.
