Responsible for reporting to and assisting the MSBA Marketing & Communications team with all day-to-day activities in regards to content capture for MSBA’s website, social media profiles, and more.

This person will be expected to contribute to every level of the content generation process including devising content strategies, logistical planning, execution, tracking and reporting. Types of content include multimedia (photo/video/audio), blogs (MSBA Student Blog, MSBA Exclusive blog), testimonials and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and develop user-generated content for social media/website use.

• Manage, monitor and optimize MSBA activities on all digital and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and MSBA’s website.

• Create photo galleries by selecting, editing and uploading photos.

• Lead all technical setup for MSBA Programming and Events, including lighting, angle, placement and type of microphone, and positioning of individuals on camera (if appropriate).

*Candidates in the greater NYC area who are able to commute to Manhattan strongly preferred but will entertain remote opportunity for strong candidates

To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this internship:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and must be able to receive academic credit.

• Experience with WordPress and knowledge of HTML strongly preferred.

• Web savvy; Must possess experience with social media platforms.

• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) preferred.

• Previous internship experience is a plus.

• Detail Oriented.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
