POSITION SUMMARY:
As a software engineering intern, you will be responsible for writing code for the entirely new set of NBA products across the ever-growing ecosystem of HTML5 powered connected devices (Xbox, PlayStation, Samsung, Hisense, Chromecast, and others). You possess a technical base and wish to further your expertise in software design and architecture. You'll contribute to a team distinguished by diversity in life, vision, and previous experience while sharing an ambitious and creative worldview reflecting the values of our organization. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute TypeScript/JavaScript code to build features and to address issues across the product
Create code commits illustrated in well-documented pull requests
Implement and maintain the appropriate unit, UI, and integration tests
Follow workflow processes, automations, and integrations
Manage workload and organization using agile methodology and project ticketing tools.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Majoring in a technical skill (computer science, computer engineering, information systems, etc) or has a portfolio with proven programming experience
Knowledge of code patterns, designs, and idioms
Interest in specific domains for sports and live-sport-event technologies: Video streaming, low-latency networking strategies, etc.
