Camp Lokanda, a traditional, co-ed sleep away camp in New York, is looking for general counselors to work with our campers ranging in age from 7-16. Our general counselors get to experience all of camp while they go to all of our activities with campers. Some of our activities include basketball, tennis, lacrosse, art center, dance, waterfront areas (2 pools, boating and waterpark) and more!

Our counselors are at camp from June 21, 2020- August 15, 2020. Some of our staff come earlier depending on the necessary training.
Camp Lokanda is one of the premier camps on the eastern coast of the United States. We are located in upstate New York, set in the amazing Catskill Mountains, on Lake Loch Ada, from which we named our camp. We have been around for over 80 years. We are a co-ed traditional sleep-away camp and have about 475 campers, ranging from ages 7 to 16. To look after so many campers, we invite 250 staff to join us from all over the world.

Lokanda prides itself on being a safe, fun environment for everyone to grow and develop. As you take good care of our campers, we in turn take good care of you. We provide a good salary and travel package, and lots of support and staff facilities.

• Candidates should be at least 18 years of age and have completed one year of college by the summer.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Dates of camp are June 21st to August 15th.
