    About The Company:

    The Tayler Group is a boutique recruiting firm operating within the Financial Services Technology ecosystem, dedicated to the specialized recruitment of C-level Financial Technology and Management Consultants. We are seeking a bright individual to join us in the capacity of a Recruiting and Research Assistant to focus on the following verticals: Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Management Consultancies and FinTech companies. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting our Senior Executive Search Consultants and maintaining general operational processes of the firm. The primary focus of this position is to provide sourcing, research, and marketing expertise in order to deliver high-quality candidates for our clients. The Research Associate will be responsible for identifying candidates through creative sourcing techniques.

    Responsibilities:

    As a Research Assistant, you will use your analytical skills; knowledge of technology, information systems, and the web; as well as your research abilities to work with and support senior executive search professionals. During your assignment, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Source and identify passive candidates through various channels
    • Evaluate candidates' resumes against position requisition criteria for interest and acceptability
    • Compile company target lists, research candidates, and help identify necessary skills and experience using internal and external sources
    • Research, collect, and compile information related to client engagements and market opportunities
    • Keep and track up-to-date records on our proprietary candidate database and input appropriate data as needed
    • Help develop business by researching areas such as market influences and competition and building market maps
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Pursuing or currently have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related Majors
    • Prior internship experience at a search firm strongly preferred but not necessary
    • Strong Interpersonal, Organizational and Communication skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Desire to grow career in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting preferred
    • Must be able to work independently as well as seek guidance as needed

    Must be located in New York City area
