  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an online sourcer/researcher to join our team. This job is open to recent grads with strong data and online research skills, rising juniors and seniors or business professionals.

    The Sourcer will work with the Recruitment team and initially be responsible for the ‘front end’ of the recruiting process (finding and filtering qualified candidates) to build a talent pipeline for a variety of positions within the digital/start up/SaaS landscape. This is not a sales job, but more of a research/data mining function. The people who have thrived in this role love the deep dive for info, uncovering new approaches, and a deep appreciation for all things tech. Geeks welcomed!

    Responsibilities include:

    • Partner with Managers to determine client’s hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements.

    • Utilize creative means, advanced online search technologies, and established best practices to research and source potential candidates to develop a diverse slate of qualified candidates.

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of talent to fuel the hiring needs of our clients.

    • Review and proofread resumes meticulously . This necessitates an understanding of todays SaaS/IoT/Ecommerce/Fintech world. If you bring that to the table, great. If not, we will teach you.

    • Use our applicant tracking system, Bullhorn, to track and organize candidates and resumes

  • Qualifications

    • Any prior recruiting/sourcing experience is a plus, as is if you built BD/Lead lists.

    • Passion/interest and understanding of business and technology. You are the type of person who is always looking at new technologies and platforms.

    • Resourceful and techy: Skills using internet resources including but not limited to, resume databases, recruiting and search techniques such as LinkedIn, industry-specific professional networks, blogs and job boards. (We will train you on these things)

    • Results-oriented with a track record of personal accountability, a sense of urgency, and a positive outlook.

    • Thrive on new challenges and have a “no job is too big or too small” attitude.

    • Must be available at least 10 hours a week during the Eastern workday. Other hours can be evenings or weekends if you want. We are flexible with the exact scheduling, as this is a work from home job--but we need to be able to rely on you to get the work done.

    • Sense of humor is a plus!

    • BS/BA degree or close to graduation if you are still in school.

  • Desired skills

    Recent grads interested in business and tech are invited to apply. This could also be done as a summer internship for business, econ or HR majors if your school permits it.

    We are ideally looking for someone at least 30 hours a week from now through the end of August. This could continue on a part time basis after that, but is not required at this time.

    AC Lion focuses on marketing, product, and revenue roles for cutting edge tech-focused companies. Headquartered in NYC, our team is distributed nation-wide. This is currently a work from home role, open to US based personnel. Work would be done mainly daytime hours but are flexible
