Morning Envelope is seeking an E-Commerce Digital Marketing Intern to join a DC based startup. Our primary goal is to make a life-changing impact by creating products that are inspiring and uplifting to our community of users. Good content and design are both integral to our business. The ideal candidate is a big-picture thinker about creative contents with the ability to apply key marketing tactics to boost sales and build brand awareness.

As an early-stage startup intern, we are looking for a candidate who will need to be comfortable to run with this task and keep the ball rolling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and execute e-commerce strategies to increase sales and boost profitability
• Collaborate with the team to define brand story, and optimize content on the company’s website
• Collaborate with the team to establish brand clarity to fully understand and interact with target audience
• Create compelling copyright for the main page of the website
• Help define and promote brand promotion campaign
• Prepare user acquisition and retention strategy or tactics
• Contribute to and assist in content creation for social media platforms
• Increase user engagement on social media platforms
• Find and target relevant brand bloggers or Influencers with a real audience
• The ideal candidate will have writing and storytelling skills

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools.
• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Innovative and passion to inspire others
• Ability to engage/interact with an audience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, blogs, etc.
• Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to increase demand generation
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Strong sense of color and composition; Expert command of typography
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and positive attitude
