Novel Effect is looking to hire a qualified intern to join our Design/Advertising team. We are seeking a candidate who can help with creating illustrations/image/visual concepts, by hand or by using computer software graphic designs. The intern will help with the CDO (Chief Design Officer) with ad-hoc projects for the company.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment. Novel Effect is now part of Alexa Accelerator Program powered by TechStars. This is a great opportunity to be a part of this team. At the completion of this internship, the candidate will have a rich experience in design and advertising and many valuable contacts for networking in future.

• Ability to create Illustrations/images/visual concepts, by hand or using computer software,
• Ability to interact and communicate ideas that inform and inspire consumers.
• Ability to develop design layouts for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
• Work with the CDO on ad-hoc projects.
• Experience with Adobe Software suite (Especially Photoshop Required)
• Experience with basic web designing. (Desired)
• Ability to demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio is a plus.
• Display professionalism regarding communication, time and money.
