    About the role:

    Emissary makes sales professionals more effective by giving them deal-specific coaching. Our clients, the sales professionals, discuss their most complex deals with our corps of 5,000+ executives, who share candid advice. These highly individualized, personal relationships are built through a series of conversations that make up an “engagement.” As an Engagement Operations Associate, you will make sure that the engagements run smoothly and regularly.

    Top things you’ll do:

    • Deliver Effective Engagements: Identify how to maximize the insight conveyed through Advisor-Client relationships and make sure each engagement creates value.
    • Drive Efficiency: You’ll monitor engagements, implement process improvements, and report metrics.
    • Guide Users: You’ll respond to inbound requests and proactively support advisors and clients to shape and fulfill their expectations.

    You should be:

    • Obsessive about details: You make sure that nothing slips. When something lands on your plate, you make sure that everything gets done. Nothing escapes your focus.
    • Extreme work ethic: You don’t stop until the problem is put to bed, especially if the problem is challenging and forces you to grow.
    • Problem Solver: You can’t help but identify problems and move aggressively to resolve them, often with creative solutions.
    • Polished and Articulate Communicator: You have no problem writing great emails that are short, effective, and easy to read. But if that doesn’t work, you pick up the phone and speak confidently with senior executives. All this while sounding like a real person.
    • Deeply Empathetic: You can read people and know how to interact with them. You can figure out what is important to people and meet them where they are.
    • Coachable: You want to get better and crave feedback of all types. You have three things that you’re trying to get better at right now.
    • Have 0-2 years experience: This is an entry-level job for someone looking to learn and grow in a start-up environment. You’ll learn extremely quickly and receive mentorship, tactical and strategic feedback and coaching while playing an integral role in our success from day one. Previous experience with start-ups is a plus.
