Early Talent Job Seekers - Candidate Research Study

WayUp is conducting multiple research studies to understand the mindset, needs, frustrations, and desires of “Early Talent” job candidates. “Early Talent” simply refers to those with less than three years of work experience and is typically composed of students, military, and recent graduates of each who tend to fill general or technical entry-level roles. 

Our current research primarily focuses on under-represented groups and must recruit participants accordingly. Participation requirements vary by study, range from 60-90 minutes in length, and all participants are paid for their time. If you are interested in participating and want to know if you qualify for any of our current or future research, please complete the following 5-minute survey!

Additional details:

• If you qualify, you will have a chance to make between $30 - $90 for your time
• If you are selected to participate in our 60-minute Focus Group, you'll receive $30 for your time
• If you are selected to participate in our 90-minute 1-on-1 study, you'll receive $90 for your time

1:1 INTERVIEW - 90 minutes total:

• You must qualify for the study by completing the participant screening survey.
• If qualified, you will be asked to schedule an interview session.
• You must attend the research study using a desktop or laptop.
• You must be able to take the call from a location that has high-speed internet.
• You must be able to join a video meeting session (via Zoom) with video turned ON and screen sharing ENABLED
• You must be comfortable searching job sites on camera. looking for future employment while being observed by the study moderator and being recorded. *
• You must be comfortable answering questions about your job search and the techniques/ tools you use to find employment.
• Qualified participants will be paid $90 for their participation. Payment will occur within 5 days of study completion.

*Session recordings are used within our organization to understand how to make our products better. If you qualify for this study, you will be asked to select a date/time and then you will receive a Confirmation and instructions on how to join the Zoom session.

FOCUS GROUP - 60 minutes total:

• You must qualify for the study by completing the participant screening survey.
• If qualified, you will be asked to schedule an interview session.
• You must attend the research study using a desktop, laptop, or smart phone.
• You must be able to take the video meeting from a location that has high-speed internet.
• You must be able to join a video meeting session (via Zoom) with video turned ON.
• You must be comfortable discussing your recent job search with a group of other candidates and sharing your likes/ dislikes on camera.*
• Qualified participants will be paid $30 for their participation in a 60-min focus group. Payment will occur within 5 days of study participation.
